My passion lies in listening to the body and tuning in on what’s happening in the tissues and energetically.
Each body has a story to tell, not so much in words but rather in sensations. This communication takes place through different rhythms, small pulsations, and microscopic waves originating from the cells themselves. Originating from a place where energy and the physical body meet.
Only by listening to the tissues and cells,it becomes possible to find health.
Who am I?
Early on in life, it was already clear I was going to end up being a therapist of some kind. As a teenager, you could find me reading books about herbal remedies or the functioning of chakras and the aura field. When I was 15 years old I received my 1st and 2nd initiation in Reiki. Just before my 18th birthday, I started an annual training in shiatsu therapy.
In search of deepening the relationship with myself, I walked to Santiago the Compostela. In 2007 I started in the Pyrenees in Saint-Jean-de-Port to walk the Camiño Francês. The following year I starting in Irun to walk Camiño Del Norte.
At the age of 18, I dedicated myself to the field of osteopathy. I graduated in 2013 in Belgium (curriculum). After graduation and because I was fascinated by the craniosacral rhythm, I followed further specialization in craniosacral therapy atUpledger Instituteand widened my skills in visceral therapy through Barral Institute. Both institutes are internationally recognized.
Over the years, I explored the field of energetic therapies, the subconscious mind, and quantum healing.
I am a trauma informed therapist. Currently I follow the training Somatic Experiencing®, a modality developed by Peter Levine. In the future this will open up the possibility to treat somatic symptoms that are often labeled as “psychosomatic” (but not less real for the patient).
I am currently studying herbal medicine at ESMTC in Lisbon, and will graduate as a practitioner in fitotherapy in 2023.
Since 2014 I live and work in Portugal. In 2017 I left the osteopathic profession. Ever since I continued to focus on craniosacral and visceral therapy and energetic work. I developed a unique integration between these styles to meet the needs of the patient.
